We arrived Kona at dusk. Landing we were surprised to see the huts that made up
their airport. We drove to our rental house and were surprised at the gem we had
found. It was even better in the am…. What a view

I had only snorkeled one other time in the Bahamas and really had no
luck at it. So I was a bit hesitant about the pacific but I got the hang
out it and was all set. In Mauna kea we had seen our first real reef
and were blown away. We booked a highly recommended snorkel trip
to Kealakekua Bay which is a Bay Marine Sanctuary. We traveled by
catamaran to get there. We were not prepared for the beauty we
would find there.
