This has been a very different type of cruise. I have to say we really got our moneys worth because we spent so
much time on the ship. The NCL sky though older is in tip condition and very clean. The staff has been wonderful,
even during our drunken stupors.
The biggest hit for us has been the 6-8pm two for one Martinis. We have been there every night so far. Only 2
more nights to go. We have tried many different types of martinis, I was even able to steal a menu to remember
them all.
We are doing a 7 day cruise which consisted of a 4 day and 3 day back to back cruise. It is funny to see the
different type of people on both. The 4 day cruise was more of what we are used to. The 3 day has lots of young
kinds and partiers. It is mainly the southern Fl local crowd.
We were originally in an inside state room, which I have no problem staying in. The speakers for the pool and the
bands was directly above us. All we heard was the constant thumping of the bass. We were moved to a balcony
cabin when we told NCL our problems.
We have spent a great deal of time poolside on this trip. The weather has been ok. Not great…but no complaints. I
think if it was wall to wall sun we could not take the 90 degree weather. While in Freeport we took a cab to the our
Lucayan beach resort. We spent a nice day on the beach there. In Nassau, it was raining when we arrived. We
walked around town a bit and then came back to the ship and spent most of the time poolside. At great stirrup cay
we took the tender in to the Island. The beach was beautiful, the water was warm, but loaded with jelly fish. They
were kinda
Neat to watch. I had never seen any in the wild before. Sow back to the ship we went for more pool time
The next day we were back in Miami. We were escorted off the ship, through immigration and back on. It was only
about 30 min hassle. Then we had the ship to
Our selves for about an hour and a half.

As I write this now we are docked in Nassau. It is almost Martini time. I am out on the balcony waiting for Chris to get
back from steaming. We did not get off the ship today. Spent some nice time poolside.
