| The trip to Alaska was mainly about bears. Of course it was nice to see the remaining glaciers, and other sea life. Afraid that we would miss the little bit of summer we get here in western NY, A trip to Hawaii was mandatory. We were gone from Sat June 30 Until Wed July 18th. A long trip yes, but did the time fly buy Below are some links to different parts of the tip. They are in some type of order I hope. June 30 Sat depart Buffalo NY for Anchorage AK, the night was spent in Eagle River July 1 Sun. After a slight delay due to having to pick up lost luggage, we started the rainy Drive to Homer AK Overnight in homer at the Windjammer inn. Large rooms and clean. July 2 -Fri July 6. July 6 Fri. Join Lynn, Tori and dad in Homer. Fish and chips on the spit.
Drive to Moose pass and check into our cabin In Kenai lakeside
Retreat formally renfros lakeside retreat. For the first 2 nights
we had a wooded cabin. For the 3rd and 4th night a lake side
one. They made the move for us!!!! Food and all
July 7 Sat am visit to Exit glacier in Kenai fjords national park. To much
melting so could not get real close. PM. Kenai river raft trip.
Very enjoyable, a lot of wildlife to bee seen. Eagles, brown and
black bears.
July 8 Sun. Am drive to Whitter AK. Almost ran out of gas, since there
was no gas for 80 miles. Dive through the famous car/train
tunnel. Then we did a 7 hour chartered boat tour of Prince
William Sound. Only the 5 of use on the boat. Very relaxing
We used a company called Honey Charters
July 9 Mon. Seward AK Charted a boat through Salt water lodge, again
we had the whole boat. The seas were ruff. We did see stellar
sea lions, puffins and Holgate glacier. I was sick and had my
head in a bucket for most of the return trip

July 10 Tue drive from Moose Pass AK to Denali National Park. what a
drive. I would split it up for sure. Of note. THERE IS NO
WHERE TO BUY GROCERIES, Bring them with you
from Anchorage.
2 Night stay at Denali RV park and motel.
July 11 Wed. Denali national park tour. We did the 11 hour 190 mile
round trip to wonder lake SEE PICTURES HERE.

July 12 Thurs Drive to anchorage to catch an 430 flight to Seattle
Spend night in Seattle.
July 13 Fri fly to Honolulu Hawaii. Over night at Ocean resort. Diner at
The Sheraton Waikiki
Jul 14 Board the Pride of Americal for a one week cruise
July 21 overnight Honolulu Queen Kapiolani Hotel. Diner at Moana
surf rider hotel
July 23 Mon Night flight home
July 24 Tues Arrive home
July 25 wed Back to work
